Passion, Perseverance and Experience

Fattoria del Casaro was born from experience and a deep knowledge of the Italian agri-food sector.

Our History

The history of Fattoria del Casaro stems from a historic business model: over more than 50 years, dozens of shops have been opened in Milan, often becoming training grounds for great gastronomy professionals.

1980

The Beginning of a Journey

Vito is one of them. His journey began very young: at only 16, he entered the world of deli meats and immediately showed an extraordinary aptitude. His dedication did not go unnoticed, so much so that his long-time employer soon entrusted him with the co-management of the shop where he worked.

2005

The Big Step

After more than 25 years of experience as an employee, he developed the desire to get involved personally. The opportunity came in 2005, when the Aretusa store was put up for sale: Vito seized the chance and took the big step, transforming from an expert collaborator into the owner.

2015

Growth and Expansion

From that moment, a path of growth based on passion and the constant search for quality began. This success led him, ten years later, to also take over the Aselli shop, expanding his gastronomical vision.

2024

Passion and Dedication

Today, the Aretusa and Aselli shops are the only stores owned by Vito. They represent the direct expression of a life spent behind the counter, where the critical eye in selecting the best product and the warmth of the relationship with the customer have remained those of that 16-year-old boy.

Today, Vito leads a team of experts who operate in both of our shops: Fattoria del Casaro would not be the same without their passion and commitment.

What makes us special

Without these values, Fattoria del Casaro could not exist

Respect for Nature

We select only animals raised with methods that respect animal welfare and the environment.

Authentic Relationships

With suppliers, with customers, with the territory. Trust is built over time, not with money.

Quality without excuses

If a product does not pass our internal tasting, it does not reach the counter.
